Chief Deputy to Help in the Two Million Dollar Missing Monies Case
Edwin Marger and Michel Puglise, attorneys for Fulton County Chief Deputy Sheriff, Caudell Jones at a press conference called by Marger, at this office in Jasper, allowed the reporters present to question Jones about the two million dollars missing from the Sheriff's office. Jones said that he could not believe that the Florida investors accused of taking the monies would ever mess with law enforcement money. Jones is to meet with the United States district attorney and FBI shortly. Marger indicated that Jones would be fully cooperative with the government and the Fulton County District Attorneys office in an effort to bring the perpetrators to justice.
