Marger Represents Duvalier Again
On January 19, 2011, Edwin Marger, Jasper attorney received a call from Haiti, requesting him to come there to meet with Jean Claude Duvalier, the ex-President of Haiti. Not only did Marger go, but he came back with an agreement to represent Mr. Duvalier together with attorney Michael J. Puglise. At a press conference in which the President spoke, Marger fielded questions asked by the various members of the press that were present. Marger had been previously called to Haiti by Jean Claude Duvalier in 1982 to represent his then brother-in-law. Previous to that situation, Marger had represented Jean Claude's father "Papa Doc" during the '60s.
