Bob Barr (of Counsel)
Former United States Representative Bob Barr has joined the Law Offices of Edwin Marger in an "Of Counsel" capacity. Mr. Barr will provide counsel and contribute to many areas of the firms' practice, including international law, and civil and criminal litigation, as well as governmental relations.
While in the Congress, Mr. Barr served on the Judiciary Committee, and the committees on Financial Services and Government Reform. He chaired the Subcommittee on Commercial and Administrative Law.
Since leaving the Congress, Mr. Barr has associated with a number of organizations, including serving as a commentator for CNN, providing advice on privacy matters to the ACLU, and serving with the American Conservative Union, Freedom Alliance, Southeastern Legal Foundation, Citizens United and The Patrick Henry Center.
Mr. Barr is a member of the Georgia and Florida Bars, and previously served with the CIA and as the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia from 1986 to 1990.
